Anthony Montague has visited North Point, Ocia's most northern territory. North Point has been labelled as safe Dervin territory, thanks to the unwaivering support Foreign Minister Kieran Henson has given the President. In his own bid to be Prime Minister, Mr. Henson has thrown the full weight of the LDO behind Mr. Dervin's Presidency. Mr. Montague has continued his Town Hall speeches but before giving his speech to North Point, Mr. Montague visited the old age pensioners at North Point's Residential Home. Below is an excerpt from Mr. Montague's speech to North Point,
"Much like Dalmantia is supposed to be safe Kovac territory, I'm told this great place is safe Dervin territory. I beg to differ. Of course, Mr. Dervin has the support of your parliamentary champion Mr. Henson but just because of this does not mean that you should support Mr. Dervin. What has Mr. Dervin done for you? I'm looking around this nation and seeing the imprint of many initiatives from the Prime Minister, but nothing really from the President. I find this slightly irksome. Is he a do nothing President?.....
.....Earlier today I visited an old age pensioners home, a group of people whom Mr. Dervin has pledged to support more than most. However, speaking to them I saw the sense of betrayal that they felt from the President. Pensioners all over Ocia feel the cold more harshly than us young folk, especially here in North Point! That's why I pledge to increase pensions and fuel allowances, so the elder generations can enjoy their retirements and the money they have.....
North Point is a place of pioneers embued with the pioneering spirit. Nowhere else in the Federation are the people living on the edge and at the forefront of Ocia's expansion than here, ladies and gentlemen. Be pioneers in your voting for the Presidency. What is more pioneering than voting for a new man, bringing change and a breath of fresh air to the Presidency? You've heard my plans and I've heard your voices. Vote for me, Anthony Montague, and it'll be a step in the right direction for Ocia."
