By Presidential Order and Appointment, I, Michael Dervin OCS, President of the Ocian Federation and her Territories, do hereby under the Elections Commission Establishment Act 2007, do hereby make publicly known the following in accordance to the Act:
1. The President does hereby Charge the Ocian Election Commission with the running and administration of both the Presidential and Federal Assembly Elections, with the fair and impartial tallying of votes and to run the election in accordance to all election laws and the constitution.
2. The President does hereby appoint, The Rt. Hon. Sir Kieran Henson, Deputy Chairman of the Election Commission, as Chief Returning Officer and Person-in-Charge of the Presidential Elections, with his duties to run the election in accordance to the law and all applicable sections of the constitution. He shall be under the scrutiny and watchful eye, of the independent examiner and Deputy Returning Officer, the Most Rt. Hon King Kakali, who’s duties is to ensure the election is run in accordance to the law by the Chief Returning Officer and to bring any issue raising suspicion or suspected violation to the High Courts of Ocia. In the event of the Chief Returning Officer being unable to perform his duties, he shall be replaced by the deputy and a new witness shall be appointed, in accordance with the law.
3. The President does hereby appoint His Excellency, Mr Justice Michael Dervin OCS, Chairman of the Election Commission, as Chief Returning Officer and Person-in-Charge of the Federal Assembly Elections, with his duties to run the election in accordance to the law and all applicable sections of the constitution. He shall be under the scrutiny and watchful eye, of the independent examiner and Deputy Returning Officer, the Rt. Hon Matt Kovac, who’s duties is to ensure the election is run in accordance to the law by the Chief Returning Officer and to bring any issue raising suspicion or suspected violation to the High Courts of Ocia. In the event of the Chief Returning Officer being unable to perform his duties, he shall be replaced by the deputy and a new witness shall be appointed, in accordance with the law.
4. All Appointments are hereby made Official by this Order and any Objections to these appointment may be made in writing to the High Court of Ocia, stating clear reasons for such.
5. The Election Commission shall dissolve itself after its final actions, after the Federal Assembly Election, however the Commission shall not seize to exist and shall at all times have a chairman.
6. No persons other than those named above may have any involvement with the respective elections, save by direct order from the President, The Assembly or the Chief Returning Officer, however, no candidate in a election may have any involvement in the Commission whatsoever save in a election they are not running in. If a person becomes a candidate in a election then they automatically disqualify themselves from the commission and shall be re-appointed in due course.
