Unlike the other Presidential candidates in the race to become President of our great Federation, I don't have the luxuries of the trappings of office. That's why while the President can speak to you from his grand office and while the Deputy Prime Minister can speak from his office in the PM's offices, I am speaking to you from the heart of our local communities; the Town Hall. And from here, I'd like to invite you my friends to ask me any question you like and I'll do best to answer it. Democracy is about accountability to the people and I intend to be as democratic and accountable as possible if elected to be your President, starting from here, this moment!

If you were president, what would you do? Do you have any plans as of yet? How do you plan to run the government? (and by this I don't mean who's going to be in it, but how and when will meetings be, will there be a system for the acceptance of propositions, ect..). What do you want to do for the people? What are your beliefs on society, and the running in general? On a slightly more personal level.. what about your other nations? Will you have enough time for Ocia, and can you ensure that? Will foreign affairs be affected by your personal choice of nation? How do you plan to get more interest in Ocia? New citizens, advertisement, publicity ect.. What about on the defence and foreign affairs front? Do you have any suggestions there, or would you prefer to work closely with the ministers of each section? Will there be a change in ministers, if you are elected? What do you think of Ocia at the moment? Sorry if thats too many the answer doesn't have to be all in one post. A few to start you off there

A few to start you off there Thanks for asking Rebecca and yes there are a few questions there! I'd be glad to answer all of them in a single post though. To start off with you ask what I would do as President? It may sound simple, but I'll run the country to the best of my ability. I will seek to co-ordinate the legislature with the wishes of the Presidential side of the executive as well as work with whomever is Prime Minister. My plans for the Federation may also sound simple, but I'll keep the good and get rid of the bad. My aims when in Government will be to get the economy working to the maximum potential it can achieve, set up a more coherent foreign policy which makes use of our unique position in the micronational world and to make sure that we are prepared for anything the world throws our way. In doing so, I will consult with the majority of you Ocians on these issues, no matter how high or how low in the establishment a person may be. If you'll allow me to combine two questions, I'll address your questions on my views of society and how to get more people involved in Ocia. Let me begin by saying that fundamentally, I believe Ocia is a liberal, democratic and free society. This means furthermore that in Ocia we respect the inalienable rights and natural laws which we are all entitled to; life, liberty and self determination. Our society in Ocia is one of the best in the micronaitonal world and we have worked hard to make it so. With welfare provisions in place, we are a step ahead of other major nations and we need to continue providing these and in some cases, expand and reform them. And it is with these principles and achievements that we should get more people involved in Ocia. In what other nations are the opportunities available to people as we have in Ocia? Here, we have the opportunity to set up a business. Here, we have the opportunity to enter into politics at any level; just look at my story here as truth of that! We should make sure people know that and not spoil our micronational image as a free and excellent nation with rash and hasty foreign policy. So let me address foreign and defence policy. Many micronationalists who've encountered me will tell you that I'm supposedly one of the great recwarrers of our era. Personally, I don't invest too much in reputation and I always seek to do my best in hostile situations. On the military front, I will consult with our Generals not the Minister. They are the ones who fight the war and I'd like to be briefed on how Ocian forces fight before I delve too much into talking about reforms. I have a way of fighting in micronations and I will not ride roughshod over our traditions but seek to accomodate my views with those of the Ocian Military. Foreign policy will change under my leadership, I can assure you. No longer will Ocia be seen as a rampaging bull in the micronational world as previous administrations have had us held as but as a mature and measured micronation capable of dealing effectively with the big nations. While I do not promise a rapprochement with Babkha as I personally have had problems with them myself, I will not outright ban talks with them. Big micronations need to co-operate on issues, especially in these times of change in micronations. I will seek to ensure that we follow those principles as well as consulting with our foreign office. As for a reshuffle of Ministers, I will consult with the Prime Minister and come to some form of agreement on who will serve where. I have my own ideas of who should serve in each position but it would be presumptious as well as prejudicial to say them now. Finally, what do I think of Ocia? Its great! But no matter how great it is, this is time for change and I'm the change that you can believe in as well as the change that's needed.
