I am pleased to announce that sicne August 21st 2007, delegates from the Ocian government, environmental groups, engineers from the team here at Ocian Architectural Works have all worked and worked tersely for this day to come. Above all I would like to the Liam Sinclair for his outstanding efforts which truly made this project a success. We owe much gratitude to him.
I am proud to announce that on Sunday August 31st 2008 Ocian Architectural Works will be fully ready to open up the bride to all traffic.
For old time’s sake I have included a very brief timeline of the construction and design of this
August 21 2007
Ocian Government convenes about creating a bride link from Ocia to the United Baronies, this was later changed to the Norde Islands after Ocia located.
September 28
Workers began constructing pillars for the bridge at an open dock yard in Port de Kovac
December 1st
Workers completed the artificial island which was created by taking rocks from the seabed of a nearby bay and relocating them to create solid land.
December 20
The majority of the pre constructed pillars for the bridge are completed
February
On days when the temperature was above freezing workers worked tersely to mount the pillars in reinforced concrete which would eventually be put in place on the seabed in the spring.
March
-Drilling for the tunnel commences
-Pillars are moved into place
-Components of the bridge begin to be put in place
June 4th
Highway to the bridge is completed as well as road barriers
June 16
High Speed Rail Lines are laid down
August 1st
Tunneling Completed
August 14
Bridge takes shape ad enters final stages of construction
