The Uninhabited Northern Island would be a good site to settle - it would make North Point less remote from the mainland. And a settlement would be also be useful as a stopover port for ocean trade to Slaventia. As opportunities with trade with Trinovantium open up, the islands near Novasolum would become a more and more useful possession.

I would suggest that we annex both simultaneously, for the purpose of each is sufficiently similar. Any update on the mcs situation?

Well first I will start with the bad news that our claim was denied again. They said we didn’t have enough activity or something.
You really think we should annex both? I think the GSO will think we are a bit greedy wouldn’t you say? The first one I would annex is just the 2 or 3 islands near Novasolum.
-oh and if we did what would the story behind it be?
-also what would we name them?

It might actually look less greedy is done together. It would look like one reasonable claim instead of two. This would be made easier if it was only 2 islands out of the 5 by Novasolum and just a small (like North Point) size claim on the large island. Oh, and "Cavy Island" has a ring to it i think.

I would appose naming the island after anyone just to make it fair. Perhaps Aormas Islands or the Noroe Islands. What do you say?

I'd be interested to know you came by those names. Do they have any particular meaning to you/Ocia?

Nope I am just creative. Sometimes I mess around the letters with other names and such but I just made them up.

Any thoughts? Maybe the Minister of the Exterior or Prime Minister should make the claim?

I don't think Geographical Claims for Ocia fall into my power as Minister of the Exterior, this is more a job for the Prime Minister, The Deputy PM,The Minister of the Interior or the Minister who is responsible for the Maps of the Kingdom. The MoE job is to deal with Foreign Affairs (e.g. With Other Micronations/Nations) not in Map Claims, as this would be a job for the Interior.
I like the idea of the expansion of our dear nation and look forward to seeing the new map of Ocia in the future

Great Indeed this would be good. Our Prime Minister is on leave until the 10th and so it will be claimed at that period of time. I am making friends with Trinovantium so hopefully they will recognize our claim there.

Hi, I'm back now, earlier than expected. I have written the following on the matter so far:
By the Authority of the President of Ocia, with a view to strengthening the trading prospects of Ocia throughout the Eastern Giess region, this writ hereby declares the two southernmost members of the Noroe Islands, as per the accompanying map, as full and incorporated regions of Ocia.
This declaration follows an assessment of Ocia’s future trade prospects, to which end it was decided that foreign trade infrastructure could be reinforced with a southern port. Ocia’s evolving foreign relation agreements, the most obvious result of which has been the formation of The Union of Eastern Giess, have caused a desire to create physically closer relations to reflect the other relations.
To this end, an expedition was undertaken, outlined as followed:
1. Preparation. It was decided that such a trading post could either be constructively placed either along the proposed trading route between Ocia and Slaventia or between Ocia and Trinovantium. A port nearer Adraisia was also considered, but was deemed ultimately inappropriate at this current time, given the establishment of Port Marshal which will fulfill the aims of Ocian trade and foreign relations. After considering the two leading options it was decided that the great distance to Trinovantium, efficient trade with which requires a sea access point, provided an impetus to select the Noroe Islands as the site for the colony, compared with Slaventia’s relative proximity and the future opportunity for an overland trade route.
.... and then I'm not really sure what we did decide on. I think that just the second claim is favourable now. I would just like to make sure that anything I write is what is wanted. So before I write any of the "how" it happened, is the "why" alright?
