As the founder and Director of the University of Directus, as well as the Minister of Finance and the Interior (which has powers over education in the Federation), I think I am quite within my rights to suggest the propose and enforce the following changes within the University. I have seen the attempts to create a working educational institution in my absence have failed, and the promises made and deadlines proposed have not been kept to.
I do not blame those involved in the University for this. However, I feel that the system wanted my many was far too ambitious for many micronationalists (either teaching or learning) to keep to.
What I would like is a new system of 6 week courses, which focus of several different topics within the nation, primarily focusing on social sciences, the main inspiration for the founding of this institution. This way, degree courses will be started and finished, and degrees will finally be awarded.
Alongside this, the University will be expanded internally and externally, with a simpler system of testing available, easing the workload on Professors. I hope to open offices in other micronations, and have foreign students come to Ocia to learn. Faculties will be created, and a uniform process of teaching will be instituted.
This will help us compete with the other micronational Universities outside of the Federation, and become a shining star not only economically and politically, but also educationally.
