I have spoken to the President about this but thought I would make it official, I am hereby expressing interest in possibly buying out 60% of OciaRail. That 60% is currently the Government's Share.

Sounds like an interesting plan, what hopes do you have for the company.

Well I make Ocia Rail a bit thing, at the moment, its just a company going on in the background, quitely humming around. Nothing Special, I want to change this. I will make Ocia Rail a top form of transport for all citizens here, I will design maps organising where new Railway tracks will be laid, this would help congestion but also Foreign Relations. I will make Ocia Rail a form of transport for Kings, Presidents and other Heads of State who wish to tour Ocia from North Point down to Luthoria. I will organise special offers, day savers, tickets, make sure you are notified of delays, and also extend certain networks so they could be carried on in other micronations, therefore improving relations. I have more ideas, but you'll just have to wait and see for them

I have to express my concearn over you buying out the government share of the company.
Don't get me wrong, your ideas are wonderful, and I like your initiatve. How about instead of owning the company, you just be placed in charge of it, the director, or what have you. Would this work?

I would of course allow the Government to own a part of the Company, but I wish to own a 51% share at least.

May I ask, as to how you intend in raising the Monies needed to buy out the government on these shares?

well 51% of the company is worth 114,750M, I would use the 10,000M starting grant plus this month's government wages as a deposit. Then take out a 100,000M loan from the bank of which would be paid of by any Monies I encounter plus each month's government wages.
This is the current draft, I am not completly sure if I have any other finances at the moment, I will alert you if I do.

After discussing a deal with Sir Kieran, Dervin & Co. Ltd and Michael Dervin OCS, collectively known as Dervin Holdings, has agreed with Sir Kieran the following deal:
Dervin Holdings will provide the cash sum of 100,000 Tolars in return, Dervin Holdings Ltd. Will hold 50% of the positions of the Board of Directors, for one year, after which OciaRail will pay back the 100,000 Tolars to Dervin Holdings along with 10% of the net profit of OciaRail from that year.
Thus, the parties involved in this buyout have secured the necessary finance and are awaiting the decision of the Government of Ocia on the sale of its shares.

Can anyone from the government confirm the sale or refusal to sell on this issue?

Hello, you probably don't know me, but my name is Curtis Sinclair, and I am an old Ocian (I was the first Minister of Finance actually) who likes to come and visit the homeland now and then . I have a large amount of maps for Ocia Rail, they are vector images, and could be edited to your new needs. If you would like then, just email me at curtis_sinclair[at]msn[dot]com and I'd be happy to dig them up. Its nice to know that Ocian economy is as excellent as ever.

Yes that would be great curtis.
Anyhow the Ocian Government can confirm the sale of 80% of the compnay. The Ocian government will keep 20% ownership.
