DO YOU SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT?
PLEASE VOTE IN YES / IN FAVOUR OR NO / AGAINST (THERE IS NO ABSTAIN)
WHEREAS currently under the Constitutional Law, no person is required by constitutional right to join a association
WHEREAS Ocia has established, by due process of the Assembly that the compulsory joining of such associations, as the Ocian Law Society, which regulates the practise of law professionals in Ocia and her territories
WHEREAS the constitution prevents this much needed Society from fulfilling its purpose & role, as all Legal Law Professionals are obliged by law to join the Ocian Law Society
THEREFORE The Assembly hereby approves & transmits to the citizens of Ocia for approval the following in a referendum:
1. Article 23 Section 2 of the Constitution which reads:
Is hereby amended to read:
23. 2. 2. Nobody may be forced to join any association or stay there, save by an act of law, which require a person to join an association or organisation. The Person may leave the Association at any time, if s/he no longer meets the requirements set out by law or publicly announces that s/he is leaving the association. No person may partake in any activity when they are not a member of a Association, when they are legally required to be a member of that Association to partake in such activity.
