We the signatory states promise to uphold the Treaty. This Treaty from here on named the "Treaty of Dalmantia" shall outline the basic structure of the Union of Giess.
Article I
The Official name of the Union is the Union of Giess, the official acronym is UG and It may be referred to as the UEG more commonly.
The Official Flag of the union shall be a Vertical half split flag with Blue on the left and White on the Right. 12 Stars shall form a circle in the Middle
The Union Flag should always be displayed near a national flag of the member state its in.
The Signatories of this Treaty are considered Full members of the Union and should abide by its rules
Article II
The Commission shall be responsible for the Day to day running of the Union; it shall be the Executive Body of the Union which is responsible for Implementing Decisions and Upholding UG Treaties.
The Commission shall not be above any Member State, It shall cooperate with all member states.
The Commission shall be made up of one commissioner from each member state. They can be appointed or elected depending on what the member state decides.
They shall come together and elect one of the commissioners as President of the Commission every six months.
The President of the Commission Shall is responsible for representing the Union abroad, promoting cooperation between members, leading the Union Rapid Reaction Force and Issuing General Statements and Press releases.
The Commission shall vote on any resolution it sees necessary to vote on.
Article III
The Council of the Union of Eastern Giess shall be led by a Presidency state. This Presidency state will be chosen by a vote I the UG Commission. The Presidency shall be rotated between member states every four months.
The Presidency State is responsible for Organizing Council meetings, representing the Union at major conferences and other special Events.
The Head of Government of the Presidency state during the course of the nation’s term as Presidency state shall hold the Title: President of the UG Council and shall be responsible for chairing the council and organizing major UG events.
The UG Council comprises the heads of state or government of the Union's member states along with the President of the European Commission, it meets a few times a year to discuss important issues that face the union.
Article IV
In order for membership into the Union of Giess an application must be sent by the applicant states government to the UG Commission for vote, in order for the applicant to be accepted a 2/3 majority must be obtained. After this process, the Treaty of Dalmantia and other important treaties of the union as determined by the Commission must be ratified by the state.
In order for a nation to achieve membership they must be in existence for at least 2 months and they must be in the world of Giess.
Article V
The Agencies of the Union shall be the Agency for Union Infrastructure and Development, the Agency of Union Tourism and Promotion, Agency of UG Cooperation and Coordination, Agency for Union Border Protection, and the Rapid Reaction Force. These agencies shall be led by the UG Commission and the Agencies individual duties shall also be determined by the Commission.
Article VI
Union Cooperation shall be essential to the well functioning of the Union. Cooperation shall be a priority and the Rights and Independence of each of the Member states must be respected. The Union does not have executive power over its member states and it shall not impose sanctions on its members nor impose laws or policies that are not wanted by the nation’s people. Disputes regarding member states should be voiced through the Union Agency for Cooperation and coordination and will be solved finding the best solution for all parties.
Article VII
A Full costumes Union shall be in place between member states. Citizens of a UG member r state shall not have to require visas, permanent residence cards or any other form of identification except for proof of their UG Citizenship.
The Agency for Union Border Protection shall Work together with the member states law enforcement and other assigned entities too provide security of the UG were it borders non-member states.
Article VIII
For Departure from the Union of Giess to occur for an official letter from the nations head of state giving notice to the Commission of the state’s departure. If this is to occur the Departure will be in full effect as determined by the Commission but can not occur no longer than 20 Days after the letter is received.
In order for a member state to be forced out of the Union they must have breached a rule to their membership and it requires a Majority in the Commission.
In Order for this Treaty to be modified in any way it shall need 100% approval by all members of the Commission.
