Endeavoring to consolidate the intermicronational position and standing of the Ocian Federation as a democratic, stable and successful state on Micras and CENTMO, and in order successfully to pursue its fundamental foreign policy interests and objectives, the underlying orientations of foreign policy activity must be defined and coordinated. These orientations are based on wide political consensus among the parties in the Assembly of the Federation, as the body with the responsibility for the foreign policy of the Ocian Federation, and on the approval of the President of the Ocian Federation.
Ocia’s foreign policy must guarantee two fundamental values: the security and the welfare of the state and its citizens. Ocian foreign policy is based on maintaining the Ocian national identity.
-The Ocian Federation strives for a peaceful settlement of conflicts and renounces the use of force
-The Ocian Federation respects and upholds the right of nations to self-determination
-The Ocian Federation will recognize any nation that respects Ocia’s Right to Independence and to rule its people under no foreign influence.
-The Ocian Federation will only recognize nations on Micras or Centmo
-Ocia’s state of recognition with a nation can only be confirmed by a treaty.
-A treaty is not valid unless the signature of the Prime Minister, President or Minister of Foreign Affairs is on it.
-The Government of the Ocian Federation reserves the right to amend any treaty and any foreign Affairs policy it currently has.
