Being a Citizen of Ocia, you are already registered to vote and a Ballot should be sent to the details you supplied when registering an account here on the forum.
As for the dates of the election, the Presidential Election should be taking place in Early Jan next year, so they are not too far away!

I think we should have Presidential Elections on December 1st and Parliamentary January 8 it was originally the other way around but I think this would be better. If we agree then I will post the electoral schedule.
Elections are to be held for both positions every six months, agreed?

I object to elections being held on Jan 1st for reasons I have stated earlier in this thread, I propose the week after the 1st Jan 2008. As for Parliamentry elections, as you are the President you get to call them and I think that 1st December would be a nice day for them to be held or the week after?

Nope you got it. You should run for President, but you can not lead a party and be president.

Mr. Dervin? would you be interested in joining the LPO?
Thank you gentlemen b t w. I am indeed interested in seeking higher office. How will this be possible? now do i have to sign any forms? or even register myself to run?
I'll be announcing my intent to run for President of Ocia in the LPO. However, if elected i will no longer continue to run the LPO let that be known.
