Petition to the Ocian Constitutional Court [/center] To the Honourable Justice(s) of the Ocian Constitutional Court, I, John Andrews, a citizen of the Ocian Federation do hereby bring a petition before this Honourable Court regarding the government’s failing to hold, the following in accordance to the Constitution of the Ocian Federation: (a) A presidential election (b) A general election The Law:The Constitution of the Ocian Federation, clearly states: The Facts:1. There has been no Presidential election since the reformation of the Ocian Federation and the DRO’s constitution became the Constitution of the Ocian Federation. This is a gross breach of the constitution, which states every 4 months a election should be held. 2. The last General election was in March 2010, well over the 4 months prescribed by the constitution. 3. The election commission has not issued any declaration of its intention to hold a election for either the President or the Federal Assembly, despite several written notices to the Commissioner of Elections. Action Sought:I ask that this Honourable Court: 1. Declare the continued occupation of the President and the Government in Office unconstitutional 2. Draft a order for elections to be held immediately for both the Presidential and Federal election. 3. In failing the Election Commission to act upon this order in due time, the Court to assume the duties of the Commission and hold a election, 4. To order the Election Commission to hold elections for both President and Federal Assembly offices, every 4 months. I pray you accept my petition, John Andrews, Petitioner |

On The Matter of: The Petition of Mr. John Andrews to the Supreme Court of the Ocian Federation Presiding Judge: Mr. Justice Michael Dervin OCS, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court The Court does hereby accept the petition of Mr. Andrews and will notify all parties via a summons to Court within 24 hours and such will be published in this thread shortly. The case will be styled Andrews VS The President, the Government and the Electoral Commission of Ocia. Summoned parties are invited to post a short "present" message in this thread as soon as possible, after they have received their summons. Summons sent to the President of the Ocian Federation [/i]
Dear Mr. Kovac,
Civil charges have been filed against you (The President of the Ocian Federation) in the Supreme Court of Ocia by a citizen Mr. John Andrews. The specific charges are that you, as President, are unconstitutionally holding office due to your term being exceeded without a election.
The Court has consented to hear this case.
You are ordered to appear the Courtroom (a message board on the Ocian Forum) no later than Monday 13th September, 2010 to acknowledge receipt of this summons and to receive further instruction about how your trial will proceed. Your acknowledgement should consist of a brief post under your name stating something to effect of: "I, (name), (your office), acknowledge receipt of the Court's summons and await the Court's further instructions."
If you fail to post this acknowledgement by the above-mentioned deadline, you may be found in contempt of Court and will risk having the Court issue a default judgment against you.
If you do not fail to post this acknowledgement, then a full trial will begin. The Court will outline the procedures to be followed and set reasonable deadlines for your challenge to the charges.
This summons is a serious matter. Please respond expeditiously.

Dear Chairman,
Civil charges have been filed against you (The Chairman of the Ocian Electoral Commission) in the Supreme Court of Ocia by a citizen Mr. John Andrews. The specific charges are that you, as Chairman of the Commission, failed in your duty to uphold the constitutional terms of the Office of the President and Government by not holding due elections, thus breaching your constitutional duty.
The Court has consented to hear this case.
You are ordered to appear the Courtroom (a message board on the Ocian Forum) no later than Monday 13th September, 2010 to acknowledge receipt of this summons and to receive further instruction about how your trial will proceed.
