I notice that there are two types of icon on the left of the main board. Do these represent unread/read threads, or something similar. Wouldit be possible to make such a distinction clearer? Or have more applicable icons perhaps?

Oh, no that part is very clear, but on the topmost board there are icons which look like a circle and a folder on the very left.

I know Trinovantium (and MNN) have something (if I remember correctly it is either a purple or yellow shield) that shows on the very main board which shows which sub-boards have new posts on them... If you have the time free from more pressing issues to just ask someone there, maybe it could add another element of difference to the Ocian forums.

When a Board or Forum contains messages not yet viewed by you, the small folder icon next to its name should contain a blue dot. If a grey dot is present there are no unviewed messages within.

Ok, that helps a lot. Maybe at some stage we should have something more .... Ocian to indicate this.

Ok, I have changed the symbols on the left hand side of the board to nationalise our forum a bit more. When you see the Ocia Coat of Arms this means that there are some new posts in that board. Maybe there is a better image to use, or this one could be tidied up. What do you think?
