THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION OF OCIA
Political Party Registration Fee (PPRF)
[/center]Political Party Registration Fee (PPRF)
To: The Leaders and Members of All Political Parties
Please note that as of the 1st January 2010, a Political Party Registration Fee (PPRF) has been introduced and is now enforced by the 2010 Budget.
This fee currently stands at 500 Tolars, per Party regardless of size and membership numbers and all parties who wish to run in any General Election must pay this Fee in order to be allowed to run in the election and be included on the General Election Ballot Paper. Failure to pay this Fee on time, will result in your party being removed from the registered party list and the General Election Ballot paper. Therefore, only Parties that pay this Fee will be allowed to run and be included the the ballot paper for the General Election.
In order to ensure this fee is paid, you party must post a new thread on this board, with Fee Payment in the subject line. In the body of the post you must state exactly where the payment is coming from, e.g. CBO Account, deductions from you wages, donations, so the money must come from somewhere and not be pulled out of the thin air. Fee payments which do not have a credible source, (e.g. the money must be coming from somewhere) or appear in the Chairman's opinion to be "pulled out the air" will not be accepted. Therefore clearly state the amount you are paying and where it is coming from in your post.
The Fee will go directly to the Government's Account in the CBO and will then be paid to the Commission, by the Ministry of Finance, so the commission is not responsible for the collection of your fee and it is up to you to ensure your fee has been collected by the Ministry of Finance.
This Fee does not apply to Presidential Elections or Referendums, however this may change at any time, so keep a eye on this board for any updates.
Thank you,
The Electoral Commission of Ocia
