Following the ratification of the second version of the One Ocia Accord by the East Ocian Assembly, President of the Ocian Federation Matt Kovac announced a set initiative of several goals for the full integration of East Ocia into the Ocian Federation once again.
I) Dissolve the People’s Federal Assembly of the Ocian Federation and allow all political parties to begin campaigning for parliamentary elections on Tuesday August 4, 2009.
II) Parliamentary Elections are to be held on Friday August 7 2009 and in Accordance with the One Ocia Accord these elections will be monitored by the electoral commission of the Ocian Federation and an international observer to ensure transparency.
III) The newly Elected Government of the Federation shall announce it’s cabinet by Monday August 10, 2009.
IV) On August 10 the Federal Assembly of the Ocian Federation shall convene to discuss amendments to the constitution of the Ocian Federation in accordance with the one Ocia accord.
V) Following the completion of this task, the Federal Assembly shall address an agenda addressing several issues including:
-Citizenship laws, the government’s right to revoke citizenship in cases such as inactivity
-Ocian Foreign affairs, cooperation with other nations
-Revitalizing the Ocian Economy and the November City Stock exchange
-Government Confidentiality act
-Ocian expansion westwards
-Conscription laws and Defence Spending
