Distinguished guests, fellow Ocians,
Efforts were recently successfully taken to reunite Ocia, Today I wish to stress however that there is much more than our government structure that needs to be reunified. The road to peace, solidarity and reconciliation is a not an easy road to take, but we do know that at the end of this metaphorical road we will arrive in a new era in a new Federation immersed in indivisible unity that does not just exist within new government frameworks but within the spirit of the people.
Fellow Ocians,
There is so much more work ahead of us and in order for us to accomplish these necessary goals we must be willing to put aside ideological, political and moral differences and put forth a great national effort so we can work collectively to build our mighty federation driven by our zeal for brotherhood and unity. In order to do this, we must also reflect on our past and make it a learning experience and not a complication to our future.
We all now see that when Ocia was separated so many months ago it was because of a select few who saw themselves in a self righteous manner. These individuals whom we entrusted in high positions of power did not have Ocia’s interests to heart contrary to their often boastful claims. This is not to say that we did not offer these individuals reconciliation and a new chance to put the past away and join in a new unity government (which some pretended to be open to). I soon came to the realization that these unconvertible imperialists could not be turned from their bourgeois ways and could never bury their desire to settle old scores or give the last word. These cowards now are not strong enough to stand behind their actions and they now hide in a foreign land in the hopes of regaining power. We know this won't happen.
Ocian Friends- It is with a great pride and self confidence that I stand before you today in front of one of our national landmarks most fittingly before the anniversary of the founding of our Federation. The date of Ocia's founding is unknown by the traitors, and would have gone by unmarked, however Ocians are a patriotic people and no regime would have prevented celebrations from occurring. I recently signed a decree in the council of state approving massive celebrations to mark the founding of the Ocian Federation almost three years ago. On Ocia's first anniversary I addressed the nation which had suffered despair yet remained proud because of the boundless accomplishments we had made. On that day my words were simply, "tomorrow is a new day, tonight dreams are aloud." In reflecting on these inspirational words we should be infact excited for the challenges tomorrow brings and we shall not look back.
Ocia, I would like to end with a challenge directed towards you. I would like to challenge you to put the past away and to learn to trust again. We can not make the past the same as the future but with the lights on. We need to lead our nation with actions rather than words. Lastly we need to be open to compromise and we must be able to listen to one another.
Comrades, let this moment, and all it represents be engraved in our memories forever. There is One Ocia led by our party our youth and our army. The reunification can not be reversed by the words, actions or plots of anyone. Congratulations on the occasion of the reunification of the Ocian Federation!
Long live the mighty Ocian Federation!
One Ocia! One Youth! One Army!
