In a visit to an armaments manufacturing plant outside of Directus, President of the Ocian Federation Matt Kovac underlined the importance of armaments self reliance while highlighting Ocia's Massive achievements in the field overall,
"Ocia is already the most technologically advanced nation in this field, I am proud to say that we have designed numerous ships, Tanks, Armoured vehicles, Submarines and Aircraft all of which remain unrivalled. We however must remained focused so we can maintain our position at the forefront of the armaments industry"
The President later toured the plant which is underground and was informed by the Grunder Plant Manager that the factory is capable of withstanding a full on nuclear attack, therefore Ocian weapons plants can maintain full production even in the height of war.
