Albeit a personal and rather informal one from the King's desk
President Kovac,
My personal letters to you do not appear to have got through, or at least, I haven't received a reply. As such, I'm sending an open letter to your Exterior Ministry.
As you know, I've long considered you a friend and tried to support you. Even though I didn't agree with all your actions regarding the split, when I put my two cents into arguments, I put them in on your side, because I thought, at a time like this, with most nations attacking you, you needed friends. I do not have a high view of some of the citizens of the other Ocia, but one thing they can do reasonably well is diplomacy. When I had a major disagreement with their methods (trade blockade) I was able to talk to Montague and sort it out.
The time has come when your methods, President Kovac, cause me major disagreements. In particular I refer to admin editing of posts; and the death warrants you have placed on certain individuals. Regardless of what your military tribunal has decided, I cannot personally sanction your attacks on those individuals (particuarly Kakali) and that you have allocated a death sentence without even holding a trial where the accused may defend themselves.
President Kovac, I send you this letter to ask for your prompt response to this question: will Ocia continue on its current path, or are you prepared to listen to the legitimate concerns of the international community, and your friends, and strive to be a nation that cooperates with (rather than threatens or demeans) other nations, and whose action reflect the ideology you confess. Most micronational arguments end with both sides needing to apologise. Most times, neither side is man enough to do so. Your opponents have made grave mistakes, but so have you. President Kovac - will Ocia apologise for it's excessive actions in past weeks, and turn over a new leaf, or is it committed to its present destructive path? If it is, I fear our friendship will have to be at an end, at least for the forseeable future.
Even if you disagree with what I say, I ask politely that you will at least respond and tell me that you'd like to see no more of me, so that I know how to proceed. And if you haven't been responding merely because you haven't had time, and agree with what I say, I would love to hear from you and assist where I can in rebuilding Ocia's tattered international prestige.
Yours in friendship,
King Andreas the Wise
