Foreign Policy of the Democratic Republic of Ocia
Ministry of the Exterior
Democratic Republic of Ocia
In identifying its foreign policy priorities, the Democratic Republic of Ocia considers the current situation and the possible development of the intermicronational political, economic and security situation in Kelta and in Micras and Aura, and proceeds from these to the values, interests and aims which are vital for the development of the Ocian nation and Ocian state as a whole. Ocia is aware that this development is guaranteed by lasting peace and stability both in Kelta and in Micras. However, the Democratic Republic of Ocia stands ready to defend itself against any foreign invader and considers the preservation of independence and brotherhood and unity as an utmost priority.
Ocia’s foreign policy must guarantee two fundamental values: the security and the welfare of the Democratic Republic of Ocia and it’s citizens. Ocian foreign policy is based on maintaining the Ocian national identity and, at the same time, the goal of achieving national reunification. A successful foreign policy must be an effective instrument of the development of the Ocian economy and Ocia’s promotion in both worlds.
The Democratic Republic of Ocia bases its foreign policy on the fundamental principles of the constitutional system of the state and the general expectation of the intermicronational society. It strives to strengthen Ocian statehood, which is based on the national, cultural and the sovereignty of the Ocian nation.
In the field of intermicronational relations, the Democratic Republic of Ocia strives to protect the values of democracy and independence while promoting unity for the whole Ocian nation.
The Democratic Republic of Ocia asserts its full sovereignty over all Ocian lands including those considered to not be under the Democratic Republic of Ocia’s control.
The Democratic Republic of Ocia upholds the strengthening of cooperation and trust and overall respect for human rights as laid down by the constitution of the DRO. It pays special attention to control mechanisms and the settlement of the human rights issue throughout the whole Ocian nation.
The Democratic Republic of Ocia strives for the settlement of succession issues, taking into consideration the dissolution of the former state, equal treatment of all newly independent successor states and proportionate assumption of succession rights and obligations.
In the field of global and regional intermicronational economic relations, the Democratic Republic of Ocia upholds solutions which guarantee full employment, a higher quality of life and conditions for economic and social progress and development.
The Democratic Republic of Ocia supports combat against imperialism and strives to promote Ocian independence. The Democratic Republic Of Ocia stands firm in defending it’s principles even in the face of war mongers and those in eastern Ocia who wish to clamor for a war to crush Democracy in Ocia.
The basic guidelines of Ocian foreign-policy activity include guaranteeing national independence, Ocian national identity and security as well as protection of the interests of the entire Ocian state and its citizens, both those at home and those abroad as well as guaranteeing Ocian national reunification. The prime foreign policy task of the Democratic Republic of Ocia remains however, the settlement of relations with neighboring nations based on mutual trust and respect as well as good cooperation in economic and other fields.
