Official Statement on Katyushan Aggression

Citizens of the Federation,

The Conservative Party of Ocia is deeply concerned by the recent actions of the FKSR, and officially condemns the actions they have taken by hiring armed thugs to do their dirty work. We pledge to do our part as members of the coalition government to ensure the safety of the Ocian people and her interests, both at home and abroad.

With that said, the CPO is officially going on record as saying we do not endorse the full language of the so called "Motherland First Policy", nor the official government policy requiring mandatory military service of all citizens, nor the official government policy requiring service in the military starting at age 16. We believe such policies unbecoming of our democratic way of life, and that such policies are more apt to belong to more militaristic societies. We, the CPO, will do everything within our power to overturn these policies that corrode at our nation's democratic ideals.

However, don't think that the CPO does not support our brave men and women of the Ocian Defense Forces, nor do we look down our noses at military service in general. We stand behind our brave heroes in uniform, and pray for their safety and success where ever they serve the people of the Federation. It is just our party's belief that better soldiers come from those brave souls who volunteer to defend their homeland, not those who are forced into service.

May God be with our nation, and may the Katyushan Question be dealt with swiftly and decisively.
