Presidential Order: Forum Moving

My Fellow Ocians,

We are all aware of the events that took place last night and the attempts by some to obstruct and derail the democratic process and to overthrow the high offices in the Ocian Federation for their own selfish and personal gains. I will not overlook these events because the abuses have gone on for far too long, despite my efforts and reassurances from the Forum Admins that they will deal with the problem. The Admins of this forum, have failed the Ocian People and have failed to protect and uphold the integrity of freedom of speech and to show common respect and manners to guests of the Federation. They continue to, despite their pathetic assurances they will stop, abuse their powers entrusted to them by the Ocian people, for their own personal gains and vendettas. Therefore, after spending hours talking to my most trusted aides and having resolved that the admins on this forum will not change, as they have been given ample chances in the past to, I therefore, make the following order, to take effect immediately:

• The Ocian Forums will be moved to a new location, independent of anyone individual citizen’s control and there will be ONE admin account on this new forum, to which only the President and the Prime Minister shall have the password to and only they may access.
  
  
• The Highest status to be granted to any Office other than the President and Prime Minister, will be moderator, who may not have the powers to delete of edit posts, save their own and may moderate their respective boards only.
  
  
• The Current Ocian Forums will be preserved and protected by law as a Archive of the Ocian Federation, prior to this order. Deliberate and/or reckless deletion and/or editing or posts, will be considered high treason and will be punishable by death.
  
  
• The Move will consist of three (3) phases. Phase one will be to move all documents of importance and need to the new forums. Phase two will be to slowly transfer the Federal Assembly, the Office of the President and all Ministries to the new forum. Phase three will be the complete move to the new forum and closure of the old. The Ministry of the Interior is hereby charged with this move and to ensure it goes swiftly and efficiently.
  
  
• Phase one shall begin on the publication of this order and with Phase Three to be completed in ONE Week (7 Days) from the day of publication.
  
  
• The Current Forum Admin’s will be discharged from their duties and such duties conferred unto the President and the Prime Minister.

I hope you have plans just beyond moving the forum. You have to remove the 'foul smell' as you put it. After you moved the forums you should do everything in your power to rebuild all of the broken and damaged relations Ocia has with other nations. You're going to have to SHOW that you're moving forward, not just move stuff.

At the moment several nations at the MCS have begun a little gathering, agreeing to the fact that Ocia is a totalitarian, Stalinistic and generally an all around evil nation.

It is my honest hope that the move and future policies will prove them wrong.

Ocia has a clean slate, use it well.

Surely there should be provisions for the relinquishing of admin powers once a Presidential and Prime Ministerial term are over? That seems to have gotten us into this mess in the first place.

I can change the admin password back to "password" (or another phrase) at the beginning of each new term, and then the incumbents can choose a new one which I do not know of. It's the fairest way.
