The case of Kieren Henson vs the Ocian Directorate for State Security
The ODSS would like to formally prosecute Kieren Henson on the following charges:
1. Breaching the State Secrets Act on the highest degree (2 Counts)
2. Lying to a Government official while being questioned (5 Counts)
3. Insubordination and misuse of Public office
We hereby ask the court to judge this case Through the Eyes of Neutrality and Justice, with that said we ask the court to punish the defendant in the most severest the law allows.

Can I ask if the President, Prime Minister or the Minister of Justice does actually acknowledge this "trial" Mr Kovac.

By law this trial must be acknowledged, and if they refuse to charge you, they too are breaking the law. There is overwhelming evidence that infact you committed the above crimes, 3 Witnesses, YOUR confession, and written proof. This should be a very quick trial.

I, Peter Ulsnes would like permission to comment on this trial NOT representing the official opinion of the Kingdom of Cerulea, but my own.

Great, then.
So far, I see no reason that Kieran should be condemned, until the prosecutor has provided direct links or images that contains proof of the charges.

Under Article 56 Section1.7 of the Constitution of Ocia:
I, Michael Dervin OCS, President of the Ocian Federation, Do hereby exercise my right under this section to suspend this action on behalf of the ODSS for two weeks, in order to facilitate a one week cooling off period for both parties involved in this Court Action and do furthermore invoke my power as under 56.1.13 of the Constitution of Ocia to invoke conciliatory procedures between both parties so as to a resolution may be made without the intervention of the Court, which if it took place under the current atmosphere, Mr. Henson’s right to a fair, unbiased and free trial would be in jeopardy.
It is my hope that this conciliatory procedure will come to a satisfactory resolution for both parties and will avoid the need for any court action. However, should this method fail then the Office of the President will consider the lifting of the Suspension Order, if the President is satisfied that a fair trial will take place as guaranteed under the Constitution and Law of Ocia.

Mr. President,
You seem to have forgotten the fact that Ocia's Judiciary system is completely separate and completely neutral from all bodies of government, I'm quite surprised that you don’t know this. The government can never interfere with the judicial system. The article which you quoted above has no relevance to this situation, you have no power over Ocia's Judicial and since you are in a clear conflict of interest in this case you will not be presiding over it in your capacity as a justice. This case will not be delayed for any reason.

Matt, the order wasn't against the Courts, it was against the ODSS, which is a Government and a body of executive power of Ocia and since the ODSS is provented for 2 weeks from doing anything with this case, this trial is in effect suspended for 2 weeks.
Also, given under Ocian Law only a member of the Ocian Law Society can be a Judge and since I am the only member of the OLS left, then it looks like you will be short of a judge.

How does one join this OLS? I did look for it but I cannot find it at all and nor can I find any law which gives it a monopoly on lawyers in Ocia.

I still don't know how to join. In my opinion though, that act and the institution of the Law Society is elitist and seems to be determined to exclude other people from joining.

How to join is fully explained in Section 2 of the Law:
The OLS was sent up by myself in order to set a high standard of Law Practice in Ocia, we have in the past asked people to submit their interest in sitting in a Bar Exam and as usual many people jumped at the chance, but when it finally came to actually sitting the Exam, many bailed out. The OLS is regulated by Law, if there was a concern about the OLS, then the people have to the power to change the law and in effect changing the OLS itself, this has not been done, so one can only say that the people are happy with the OLS and wish it to continue in its present form, which we intend to do. We have adopted a policy of a holding a test every 6 months, the next one will be in Jan-Feb, if you wish to sit this test then all you need do is apply when the announcement of the test in made and actually do the test and submit it, it will be marked and you will get your results in by the test being returned to you plus markings.
