Painting of the Palace of the Generalissimo during his birthday parade. The Palace was constructed on December 14, 2008 as a gift from President Kovac for (then Marshal) Kolya Radchenko's victory over Katyusha. For many years, it had been a smaller structure, based somewhat on the designs of the Moscow Kremlin. Reconstruction started March 3, 2009, when a massive expansion had been initiated to the south wall. After tripling in size, the structure is conservatively estimated to exceed 300,000 square meters. The tower and statue of Generalissimo Radchenko were completed on July 27, 2009, stretches almost 430 meters tall, and contains nearly 80,000 metric tons of steel. The palace is one of the finest Ocian architectural works, and is still the primary residence of Generalissimo Radchenko. Many military parades are held here, where the Ocian high command gather with Generalissimo Radchenko in the observation box near the foot of the statue to watch the might of the Ocian Defense Forces. Some government and military buildings are within the leveled square in which the palace was built on. The palace lies near a large lake, deep within a mountain range outside Directrus with many military airfields, naval pens and mountain infantry garrisons. Official whereabouts is known to the public, however admission to the mountain road to the palace is strictly forbidden to all exept military personnel.
